Sealing valves is one of the things that must be done for their better performance. To seal the valves, you must act as follows:

1. First, you need to change the angle between the valve cone and the seat. Because between the cone part of the valve and the seat part, there is nothing else that can seal the valve accurately. The angle between these parts should be 44 degrees or 29 degrees. (The 44 degree angle provides better sealing and low volumetric efficiency, but the 29 degree angle provides poorer sealing and higher volumetric efficiency) After changing the contact angle, the conical section of the valve changes from surface to line mode. 

2. Now make sure that there is no leakage between the conical part of the valve and its seat. To do this, just pour some oil behind the valves and wait. If you notice a leak in the cylinder head, you should first seal it with coarse sanding oil and then with soft sanding oil. (To do this better, it is better to use a little talcum powder or its separation powder. These powders are used in casting, and by pouring them on the bottom of the cylinder head, you can easily find out if there is a leak or not)

3. Now open the valve spring and pour a small amount of sanding oil between the conical part of the valve and the valve seat.

4. At this stage, you should turn the valve to the right round and left round positions, consecutively.

5. Pour sanding oil again and repeat the operation.
